Testimonials

“This beautifully illustrated book is a well-considered and researched masterpiece, contributed to and created by experts in the field of education, child care and psychology.  Lisa and Fiona have developed a simple and accessible way to encourage emotion-focused conversations with your child(ren).  Often as parents we can be fearful or avoidant of the unpleasant emotions of our child(ren).  This book highlights that all emotions are equally valid, even the unpleasant ones.  It addresses topics of diversity, validation of emotion and does not aim to problem solve with the child without first sitting with the emotional experiences. The questions posed at the end of the book are well considered and open-ended thus opening a child up for more in-depth conversations where needed."
